Order lines are read separately for store replenishment and e-com singles, so an online-only SKU is slotted on its own terms instead of matching a store staple that ships by the case. Batch size flexes with each cut-off's channel mix — a wave feeding store trucks batches differently from one filling e-com parcels, instead of running the same fixed group size all day. An order landing just before a deadline gets folded into that wave's capacity rather than bumped to the next one because the batch was already full of unrelated orders.
