The lift isn't applied as a blanket percentage across the SKU list — the model reads the actual display commitment and case-pack volumes off the promo plan, so a featured item gets exactly the forward capacity that volume needs, and nothing is borrowed from an item that isn't running that week.

Velocity drift detection

ABC classifications age fast in CPG — see the drift and correct placement before travel time creeps up.

Each SKU's live pick velocity is compared against the class it was assigned at the last formal review, and a widening gap gets flagged the week it opens up, not at the next quarterly re-class. A B item quietly turning into an A gets nudged forward on its own timeline, instead of waiting behind the next scheduled project.

Pallet-out volume and case-pick mix look identical in a total order count, but they need different headcount ratios on the floor — the labour plan draws staffing per role from that mix specifically, not from scaling an average shift up or down. A promo-heavy week gets more case pickers where the mix demands them, not just more bodies spread evenly.

Retailer OTIF targets

On-time-in-full performance monitored continuously, with root-cause analysis when a wave slips.

When a wave misses its cutoff, the system walks back through its pick, pack and dock stages to isolate which one actually caused the delay — a stockout, a late truck, a congested door — rather than logging a generic miss against the retailer scorecard. The same failure mode gets fixed before next week's shipment to that account repeats it.
